On May 8, 2026, the delegation of Kimyo International University in Tashkent led by the university founder, Professor Alisher Vakhobov, paid an official visit to one of Italy’s prestigious universities — the University of Turin (UniTo).
Founded in 1404, the university is ranked among the world’s top 300 universities in the QS World University Rankings and educates over 70,000 students. During the meetings, the parties discussed cooperation in medicine, law, international economics, artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and other fields.
The sides also reached agreements on 2+2 and 1+1 joint degree programs, double diplomas, academic exchanges, internships, summer schools, and Erasmus+ collaboration.
