"Two Geniuses of the Century"

On February 15, 2023, the Department of "Methodology of Preschool and Primary Education" organized a competition-event called "Two Geniuses of the Century", dedicated to the 582th anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoi and the 540th anniversary of the birth of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur.

The agenda of the event included such topics as “Reading of ghazals”, “Staging scene”, “Drawing illustrations for the works of Navoi and Babur”, “Essay Writing”, “Modern interpretation of the works of Navoi and Babur”. The event was opened with an eloquent speech by Associate Professor of the Department of "Folklore and Dialectology" of TSUULL, Doctor of Philology Abdumurod Tilavov. During the event, ghazals were performed by students. A student of the TRS 74 group Rustamova Shakhrizoda read a ghazal written by Babur, beginning with the lines "Keltursa yuz baloni oshal bevafo manga...". With his ensemble, she was accompanied by the teacher of the department "Performing skills and culture" of the faculty "Musical culture" of the Pedagogical University named after Nizamiy I. A. Rozimurodov. Also, the students of the TRS 71 group performed the scene “Navoi and Guli”, and the students of the PRIE group performed a modern interpretation of “Farkhod and Shirin”. The event was completed by the head of the Preschool and Primary Education faculty Abror Muhammadiev, who presented the guests with memorable gifts.
