Yesterday, an official delegation headed by the founder of the Kimyo International University in Tashkent A.Vakhobov and the rector J.Kudaybergenov arrived in South Korea.


Today, members of the delegation visited Gachon University. During the visit, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Kimyo International University in Tashkent and Gachon University. 

The purpose of the visit is to bring the existing cooperation to a new level, expand the scope of joint programs, discuss issues of faculty and student exchange. 

At the same time, members of the delegation got acquainted with the living and study conditions created for our students who are currently studying at Gachon University on such programs as 2+2, 3+1. 

At the end of the meeting they agreed to have a regular dialogue to discuss future areas of cooperation.

For information: Gajong University is a comprehensive university established in 2012 by merging four educational institutions including Gajong Medical College, Gyeongwon University, Gajong Gil University, and Gyeongwon College. In the example of Gachon University, it can be said that for the first time in Korea, four-year private universities were integrated. Gachon University operates a global campus in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, and medical campuses in Incheon, including colleges of medicine, pharmacy, nursing, and health sciences.

There are 14 colleges, eight schools (20 specialties), and 46 departments in operation as of the 2021 academic year. As of September 2022, the university is a large university with 24,748 students (including 2,928 graduate students).
