Yesterday, the general manager for admissions of the Riga Technical University (RTU), prof. Elina Norsiyese and director of the Riga University Business School prof. Jolanta Jurevisa visited Kimyo International University in Tashkent.
The guests were greeted by the acting Rector of KIUT prof. Karimjon Akhmedjanov. During the meeting, parties summarized the results of five-year cooperation between RTU and KIUT. The main emphasis was on the Erasmus program. It was noted that the program, funded by the European Union and aimed at stimulating educational exchanges and international cooperation around the world, will help build the scientific potential of KIUT. Through this program, students will be able to study at foreign universities for one or more semesters, participate in research and scientific projects, and experience new cultures. The Erasmus program also covers teachers and researchers, ensuring their participation in international cooperation, exchange of knowledge and experience.
