On May 20, official meetings were held in Turin at Politecnico di Torino (QS #243) within the framework of the international project “Sustainable Transportation within the Framework of Green Deal” (SPHERE).

 The delegation of Toshkent Kimyo Xalqaro Universiteti, led by Rector Professor Akmal Baltayevich Allakuliev, participated in the meetings.

The discussions focused on the development of sustainable transportation systems, implementation of green technologies, environmental engineering, and digitalization of the transport sector. The parties also exchanged views on the implementation process of the SPHERE project, quality assurance mechanisms, and strategic cooperation priorities.

Politecnico di Torino is recognized as one of Europe’s leading technical universities, renowned for its advanced research in engineering, transport technologies, energy, and sustainable development.

The sides discussed opportunities for:
— joint research projects in sustainable transportation and green technologies;
— exchange programs for professors, researchers, and students;
— development of academic mobility and internship programs;
— cooperation within international grants and innovation projects;
— joint initiatives in environmental monitoring and digital transport solutions.

Following the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Toshkent Kimyo Xalqaro Universiteti and Politecnico di Torino aimed at strengthening cooperation in education, science, and innovation.
