A SEMINAR ON THE TOPIC “METHODS FOR THE EFFECTIVE USE OF INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC DATABASES AND THE PUBLICATION OF SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES” WAS ORGANIZED AT THE YEOJU TECHNICAL INSTITUTE IN TASHKENT

At the seminar, the speakers of the event provided information about the Elsevier databases, how to use them, including registering and using the Science Direct database. Instructions were also provided on how to open an account on the Scopus platform and view information about user’s status. Also, full information was given about the citation of the article and the factors that increase the X index in the Scopus database. During the seminar, examples were showed how to check the status of professors and teachers of the institute in the Scopus database.

During the seminar, the attention of the audience was directed to the choice of scientific journals for publishing articles. At the same time, the necessary instructions were given so that researchers could distinguish the status of journals and define predatory ones.
