“AKS SADO”: A CREATIVE DIALOGUE BETWEEN MENTORS AND STUDENTS

On October 30, the Tashkent House of Photography opened “Aks sado” (“Echo”), the second art exhibition by the HAM_NAFAS creative group.
What makes this exhibition special is the opportunity to see works by established artists alongside those of their students — undergraduate students of Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT).
For these emerging artists, the exhibition offers a chance to present their work to a wider audience, engage with experienced professionals, and take another step toward developing their own artistic identity.
At KIUT, art education extends well beyond the classroom. Participation in professional exhibitions, interaction with practicing artists, and opportunities to showcase original work are essential parts of students’ creative development.
Founded in 2023, the HAM_NAFAS creative group has continued to grow, welcoming five additional artists for its latest exhibition.
The exhibition is curated by Ma’suda Abdurahmonova and organized by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, Kimyo International University in Tashkent, and the Tashkent House of Photography.
“Aks sado” is a space where the experience of established artists finds a new voice through the creativity of the next generation.
