An international seminar for judges of the Karate-do Federation was held at the Kimyo International University in Tashkent.

It was attended by Ibrahim Al-Bakr, President of the Asian Karate-do Federation, Brad Webb, Chief Judge of the International Karate-do Federation ITKF, Sandrine El Marhomi, President of the European Karate-do Federation ITKF, John Price, assistant judge of the International Karate-do Federation ITKF. 79 coaches and judges from Uzbekistan increased their qualifications at these seminars. A memorandum of cooperation between the university and the Institute of Martial Arts and Science (Middle East and Africa) was also signed during the seminar.
