Kimyo International University in Tashkent hosted a meeting with representatives of Japanese companies operating in the construction and engineering sectors.
The delegation included Taira Atsushi, Head of Setsubi Giken; Kina Masataka, President of Kirari Densetsu; company representative Uchima Ryoko; and Abrorjon Madimarov, Director of OUKAWAY Private Employment Agency.
The guests were welcomed by Alisher Vahobov, Founder of the University, and Sharifbay Badalov, PhD, Vice-Rector for Infrastructure Development and Economic Affairs.
During the meeting, the parties discussed employment opportunities for KIUT graduates in Japan, adapting academic programmes to the requirements of the Japanese labour market, and preparing students to learn the Japanese language and adapt to the country’s professional culture. The initial stage of cooperation is expected to cover architecture and construction, higher nursing, and logistics.
As part of the visit, interviews were also held with graduates of the Architecture and Urban Planning programme. Based on the results, qualified candidates may be offered employment at Japanese companies.
This cooperation will create new opportunities for KIUT students to enter the international labour market, gain experience in Japan and begin their careers as highly qualified professionals.
