"Issues of language and translation" on April 18, 2024

The implementation of Presidential Decree No. PD-158 "On the Strategy of Uzbekistan-2023" dated September 11, 2023, Presidential Decree No. PD-5847 "On the Concept of Developing the Higher Education System of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030" dated October 8, 2019, and Presidential Decree No. PD-5812 "On Additional Measures to Further Improve the Professional Education System" dated September 6, 2019, aims to organize the activities of the National System for the Development of Professional Skills, Knowledge, and Technologies in Uzbekistan and in order to ensure the implementation of Resolution No. PR-5117 "On Measures to Further Develop Foreign Language Learning Activities in Uzbekistan from a Quality Perspective" dated May 19, 2021, Kimyo International University in Tashkent plans to hold an international scientific-practical conference on "Issues of language and translation" on April 18, 2024.

The international conference will be held at the Kimyo International University in Tashkent in offline and online formats. Foreign and local scientists, academic staff, professors, practising specialists, researchers and students can participate in it with their articles and theses. To submit an essay to the conference, please email it to the following addresses:

1. Regarding comparative, fiction, scientific and technical translation issues
2. Problems of Chinese-Uzbek translation studies.

3. Innovative theories of foreign language education. Monitoring and evaluation of language learning with the help of technologies

4. Issues of teaching English

5. Digital technologies and English language teaching

Requirements for accepting scientific articles:

1. The content of the scientific article must include the following:
   1. Topic annotation and keywords.
   2. Introduction
   3. Methods
   4. Results
   5. Discussion
   6. References

II. The article must be carefully edited and comply with all technical requirements of the publication, including:

• text editor – MS Word 2007, 2010;
• page – in A4 size, in the form of a book, 20 mm left on all sides;
• font – Times New Roman, font size – 14;
• line spacing and spacing at the beginning of the letter – 1.5;
• the length of the article is at least 5 pages;
• in the upper right corner, the author's full surname, first and last name, academic degree and title, position, name of the organization, and the name of the scientific material are written in the middle (in bold letters);
• all tables, schemes and figures should be in MS Word format, in Times New Roman font, their name should be below the scheme and figures, above the tables;
• all graphics and diagrams must be in MS Excel format;
• formulas must be written in MS Equation Editor;
• tables, figures and graphics must indicate sources and references to them in the text;
• links are placed at the bottom of each page;
• scientific articles can be prepared in Uzbek, Russian, English, or Chinese.

3. Scientific articles and abstracts filled out by the questionnaire only in electronic form via the site http://conference.kiut.uz/ 

Deadline: April 1, 2024.

4. Submitted scientific articles and abstracts will be examined for compliance with the above requirements, including anti-plagiarism (www.antiplagiat.ru, www.text.ru) programs, and materials that do not pass according to experts' conclusions will not be published and will not be returned to the author. Scientific articles and theses with a positive expert opinion are included in the electronic collection for publication and posted on the official website www.kiut.uz.

It is planned to publish free of charge proposals and recommendations on the results of this conference as a collection of scientific articles.
