"Relevant Issues of Teaching Methods in Social-Humanitarian Disciplines"
INFORMATION LETTER
To identify scientific problems and solutions related to the implementation of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan, the development of the national higher education system, the establishment of an effective management system, the integration of the latest pedagogical technologies into the educational process, the organization of scientific activities based on global standards, and further improvement of their position in international rankings, the wide attraction of scientific and pedagogical personnel with advanced foreign experience are the basis for preparing competitive personnel for the comprehensive socio-economic development of regions, based on the tasks outlined in the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. M. Mirziyoev dated January 28, 2022, No. PD-60 "On the Development Strategy of the New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026," PD-5847 dated October 8, 2019, "On the Approval of the Concept of Development of the Higher Education System of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030," PD-165 dated July 6, 2022, "On the Approval of the Strategy for Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026," PD-6017 dated June 30, 2020, "On Measures for Radical Reform and Upgrading of State Youth Policy in the Republic of Uzbekistan," as well as in the Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PR-4939 dated December 31, 2020, "On Measures for Radical Improvement of the Qualifications Assessment System and Ensuring the Labor Market with Qualified Personnel," PR-289 dated June 21, 2022, "On Measures to Improve the Quality of Pedagogical Education and Further Development of the Activities of Higher Educational Institutions for the Training of Pedagogical Personnel," an international scientific and practical conference on the theme "Relevant Issues of Teaching Methods in Social-Humanitarian Disciplines" is planned to be held at the Kimyo International University in Tashkent from May 31 to June 1, 2024.
International partners of the University, such as the Universities of Strathclyde, Cardiff Metropolitan, and NILE (United Kingdom), MARA Technological University (Malaysia), Roosevelt University (USA), Varna University of Management (Republic of Bulgaria), Hanyang, Gachon National universities, Hong Kong (South Korea), Necmettin Erbakan University (Turkey), several universities of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and other CIS countries, as well as representatives of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms at the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, other higher educational institutions, relevant ministries and departments, various public organizations, and diplomatic missions of foreign countries in Uzbekistan are expected to participate in the international conference.
The international conference will take place at the Namangan branch of the Kimyo International University in Tashkent in offline and online formats. International and domestic scientists, professors, and teachers, practising specialists, researchers, and students can participate with their articles and abstracts. The work of the conference sections will be focused on issues and their solutions in the following priority areas:
Section 1: Pedagogy-Psychology
- Influence of social organizations on the spiritual and moral upbringing of contemporary youth.
- Interactive teaching methods as a means of developing key competencies in students.
- The role of pedagogical and psychological knowledge of parents in improving the quality of education.
- Gender peculiarities in education as a socio-psychological problem.
- Comparison of traditional and modern professional consulting practices in career growth.
Section 2: Special Pedagogy
- Current state of the issue of assistance to children with developmental disorders.
- Instrumental and digital methods in the diagnosis and practice of defectology.
- Social-personal development of children and adolescents with disabilities.

Section 3: Literature and Linguistics

Section 4: Current Issues in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL) in the Context of Global Changes
- Methods of RFL: traditions and innovations in teaching a foreign language.
- Peculiarities of teaching the Russian language and literature.
- Issues in teaching and practice of translation.
- Cultural aspect of teaching the Russian language.
- Free topic: research in the field of the Russian language, literature, culture, etc.
Section 5: Historical Sciences
- Modern methods of teaching special historical disciplines.
- Modern approaches in teaching the history of Uzbekistan and world history: general education and higher education disciplines.
- Scientific-practical aspects of applying digital history in history lessons.
- Educational resources on history: current state, approaches, and norms.
- Methods of teaching history in non-specialized educational directions: advantages of innovation and new pedagogical technologies.
It is planned to publish proposals and recommendations for free based on the results of this conference in the form of a collection of scientific articles.
Requirements for accepting scientific articles:
I. The content of the scientific article should include the following:
1.1. Abstract of the topic and keywords.
1.2. Relevance of the research topic.
1.3. Literature review on the topic.
1.4. Ways to solve the problem.
1.5. Scientifically justified proposals and recommendations.
1.6. Expected economic effect.
1.7. List of used literature.
II. The article must be carefully edited and meet all technical requirements for publication, including:
- Text editor – MS Word 2007, 2010;
- Page – A4 format, as a booklet, with a margin of 20 mm on all sides;
- Font – Times New Roman, size – 14;
- Line spacing and letter spacing – 1.5;
- Article length of at least 5 pages;
- In the upper right corner in the middle (in bold), the author's full name, degree, title, position, organization name, and the title of the scientific material are written;
- All tables, diagrams, and figures must be in MS Word format, in Times New Roman font, their names should be below the diagrams and figures, as well as above the tables;
- All graphs and charts must be in MS Excel format;
- Formulas should be written in the MS Equation editor;
- Sources must be indicated in tables, figures, and graphs, and references to them in the text;
- Scientific articles can be written in Uzbek, Russian, or English.
III. Scientific articles and theses are filled out in electronic form only and must be submitted by May 1, 2024, via the website http://conference.kiut.uz/.
IV. All submitted scientific articles and theses will undergo verification for compliance with the above requirements, including plagiarism detection programs (www.antiplagiat.ru, www.text.ru) and materials that do not pass the expert conclusion will not be published and will not be returned to the author. All scientific articles and theses with a positive expert conclusion are included in the electronic collection for publication and indexed by Google Scholar и DOI, Open Air, Crossreff, ISSNand posted on the official website https://conference.kiut.uz/
