Chinese Calligraphy Workshop Held at KIUT
Students at Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT) explored the traditional art of writing Chinese characters using a calligraphy brush.
Chinese calligraphy is more than the art of beautiful handwriting. Its philosophical foundations emphasize inner calm, patience, concentration, and harmony of movement. Each brushstroke carries meaning and reflects centuries of cultural tradition.
Calligraphy also plays an important role in learning Chinese. Understanding character structure, stroke order, and writing techniques helps students develop a deeper understanding of the Chinese writing system, improve character recognition and retention, and gain valuable insights into Chinese culture and philosophy.
