Demonstration of student clothing collections

On March 1, 2024, the faculty of Fashion Design of Kimyo International University in Tashkent organized a traditional reporting fashion show for 2nd and 3rd year students.
This fashion show (defile) was held under the name “Fashion Rally” in the sense of a symbolic comparison of races of specially modified cars. The theme of car racing was used in the image of a busy city, noise of cars and fleeting time. The motto of the famous Honda company, “First man, then machine,” can also be applied to fashion design – “First man, then clothes.” This student fashion show is based on the philosophy that it is a creative approach, a flight of imagination and constant work on oneself that can form creatively thinking, mature professionals in their field.

The educational process of the Faculty of Fashion Design at Kimyo International University in Tashkent is aimed at creating images that are different from the usual style and clothing. Faculty students can freely translate their creative ideas into reality based on world fashion trends, and also acquire the necessary skills during their studies. The main philosophy of the teachers and students of the faculty is the free expression of own individuality and creative potential. “Fashion Rally” is another outcome of creative ideas implemented by students under the guidance and assistance of teachers during the 2023-2024 academic year.
Alisher Giyazov directed the “Fashion Rally” show, who is also the author of a number of famous and prestigious fashion shows. Such famous designers as Pakhlavon Turdiev (The Black Quail), Lola Saifi (Human House), Saida Amir, Zulfia Sultan were guests of the fashion show and acted as members of the jury.

The fashion show “Fashion Rally” is intended to become a common platform for communication between young talented designers with an individual view of fashion by demonstrating clothing models, collections of different styles and trends. At the end of the fashion show, 3 students who scored the highest jury scores were awarded prizes.
Designers, teachers and students of our faculty are united by the mission to contribute to the prosperity of this area, to develop, inspire and achieve high results. For this, continuous improvement, research and a conscious approach to the profession are important.
