"Food culture and history of the peoples of Central Asia"


It is planned to hold an international scientific and practical conference in Kimyo International University in Tashkent within the framework of the assignment specified in paragraph 9 of the decision PD-200 of July 4, 2023 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to effectively organize public administration in the field of higher education, science and innovation within the framework of administrative reforms".

It is known that the tourism potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been increasing in recent years. Especially in the field of gastro tourism, it is becoming more and more known to the world. International conferences are of great importance in determining the development of gastro tourism in Uzbekistan, its place in the world, historical foundations, and scientific and practical aspects. In this regard, Kimyo International University in Tashkent announces that on May 3, 2024, the "History" department will hold an international scientific-practical conference on the topic "Food culture and history of the peoples of Central Asia".

It is determined that the conference will carry out activities in the following branches:

1. The study of food as an important component of human material culture in the world experience (historiography);

2. Reflection of food culture in ancient and medieval sources (source studies);

3. Eating in the history of the peoples of Central Asia: issues of eating in everyday life, parties and weddings;

4. Eating etiquette in the ethnology of the peoples of Central Asia: traditions and innovations;

5. Issues of importance of food culture in gastro tourism of Uzbekistan.

Professors and teachers of higher educational institutions operating abroad and in the republic, scientists and researchers of research institutes, and master's students can participate in the conference.

Conference articles are published in electronic and book form.

Each article published in the collection is given a DOI (Crossref) number and it is reflected in the certificate. Published articles are indexed in the following bases: Google scholar, Doi, ISSN, Open Air, Universal Impact factor.

The text of the articles should be 5-10 pages long, with annotations in three languages (Uzbek, Russian, English) in electronic form. The text of the article is in Microsoft Word, Times New Roman font is 14 Kegel size; It should be formed in 1.5 intervals, leaving 30 mm from the left, 15 mm from the right, and 20 mm from the top and bottom.

  • Articles can be submitted to the conference in Uzbek, Russian and English.
  • The subject of the article is indicated in capital letters, above it, in the right corner, the author's name, academic degree and title, full name of the place of work are indicated; The text is quoted with 2 spaces after the title of the article.
  • All citations are given in square brackets, and the author's last name and page are indicated [Author: 65].
  • When saving the article, the author's last name is written (For example: Aminov B.doc)

Scientific articles that do not meet the requirements will not be included in the collection of conference materials and will not be returned to the author and will not be commented. A set of conference materials will be distributed to participants electronically after the conference.

Scientific materials received by the organizing committee are selected and accepted in accordance with the theme of the conference.

There is no fee for conference papers.
