KIUT Delegation Visits MIT, the World’s No. 1 University in the QS World University Rankings 2027
On October 26, 2026, a delegation from Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT), led by its Founder, Professor Alisher Vakhabov, visited the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
MIT is ranked No. 1 in the QS World University Rankings 2027, maintaining its position as the world’s leading university for 15 consecutive years.
During the visit, the delegation met with Susana Kevorkova, a representative of MIT’s Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS).
The meeting focused on the following areas:
-Exploring opportunities to introduce MITx MicroMasters programs at KIUT;
-Establishing faculty and student exchange opportunities;
-Sharing international best practices in education and scientific research;
-Expanding academic and research collaboration.
The meeting marked an important step towards strengthening KIUT’s partnerships with the world’s leading universities, improving the quality of education, and creating new international educational and research opportunities for students and faculty.
