KIUT Hosts Delegation from the University of Turin and Piedmont Region
Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT) hosted a delegation from the University of Turin (UniTo) and Italy’s Piedmont Region.
The delegation included Prof. Cristina Prandi, Rector of the University of Turin; Prof. David Lembo, Vice-Rector; Emilia Sannino, Head of International Relations; as well as representatives of the Piedmont Region’s healthcare sector.
The meeting focused on opportunities to launch dual and double degree programmes in medicine, economics and other fields, alongside student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects and broader academic mobility.
The parties also discussed visiting professor programmes and opportunities for KIUT faculty members to deliver lectures and participate in academic activities at the University of Turin.
Discussions with representatives of the Piedmont Region covered medical education, training and professional development for healthcare specialists, as well as opportunities to study Italy’s regional healthcare system and experience.
The meeting identified key areas for further cooperation between KIUT, the University of Turin and the Piedmont Region in education, research, academic mobility and healthcare.
