KIUT Towards the QS Top 100: Strategic Partnerships with Leading Universities
KIUT Delegation at Yonsei University
A delegation from Kimyo International University in Tashkent (KIUT) visited Yonsei University, one of the world’s leading universities. Yonsei University ranks 42nd in the QS World University Rankings 2027, 11th in Asia in the QS Asia University Rankings 2026, and 1st in South Korea.
During the visit, the KIUT delegation met with Lee Sang Woo, Vice Chairman; Yongho Kim, Vice President; Sun Jae Jung, Deputy Vice President; Kileun Oh, Director of International Affairs, as well as other representatives of Yonsei University.
The discussions focused on developing a long-term strategic partnership between the two universities, including student and faculty exchanges, joint academic programmes, collaborative research and international projects, as well as joint seminars and conferences.
Of particular interest to KIUT was Yonsei University’s experience in strengthening its position in international rankings, enhancing research capacity, and developing as a globally competitive university.
KIUT’s goal is to learn from the experience of the world’s leading universities and consistently strengthen its position in the QS rankings through international cooperation, education, and research.
