Today in Uzbekistan there is a rapid development of the fashion industry. But it is no secret that the first steps are being taken towards the development of products that meet the global fashion industry and its international standards.
Among a number of tasks set by the head of our state, there are instructions related to this area. For the development of the fashion industry and the realization of products that can be competitive in the global market, it is important to keep abreast of the global high fashion industry.
To develop this direction at the Kimyo Tashkent International University, it is planned that the Pescara European Design University (Universita Eoropea Del Design - Pescara) will serve as a base school. The university specializes in education in fashion and design. Employees and teachers of the university also work as designers in such world-famous companies as Gucci, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Fendi, etc. And also in cooperation with these companies, the university is engaged in new developments and technologies. The Tashkent Kimyo International University has started work on new projects in the field of education in collaboration with the Pescara European University of Design. In particular, as joint educational programs at the Kimyo Tashkent International University, it is planned to establish an exchange of faculty, launch student mobility programs, open new specialties in graphic and interior design.
On January 20, 2023, a memorandum of cooperation was signed at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Italy between the Kimyo Tashkent International University and Pescara European Design University. The event was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Italian Republic Otabek Akbarov, who noted that the embassy is ready to take all measures to implement long-term plans.
We believe that the Kimyo Tashkent International University will open a new page in the fashion industry of Uzbekistan and will contribute to the strengthening of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries and the faster development of the design direction.
