With the start of the international exhibition of fashion and textiles "Tashkent Fashion & Textile Expo 2023" under the faculty of "Fashion Design", our students took part in an excursion and gained useful experience

The international fashion and textile exhibition “Tashkent Fashion & Textile Expo 2023” serves as a business platform for the wholesale and retail markets of Uzbekistan, and also represents well-known brands in the fashion, beauty and textile industries of foreign countries. The exhibition was attended by about 4,000 exhibitors from more than 100 companies.

Products of textile and clothing enterprises were supplied from Turkey, China, Uzbekistan and other countries. Master classes from fashion and digital business professionals, well-known stylists, makeup artists, marketers and representatives of the business community were held at the exhibition sites, as well as B2B negotiations and meetings.

Themes of the master classes: “Wardrobe for life”

In the 3-day program, students took part in master classes by leading experts in the field of fashion and digital business. They witnessed the Fashion Show, which was attended by over 20 local and over 15 international brands. The students got acquainted with the latest innovations in the field, came to the conclusion that they can go to foreign countries and start independent business activities.

At the Fashion show, some of our students received gifts. They went on the stage with smiles on their faces.

The most interesting is:

* February 2: master class by Moscow stylist Shapiro Tata.
* February 3: master class by make-up artist Akobir Ashurkulovich.
* February 4: A series of master classes by men's style expert Andy Lee, as well as a master class by the founder of “Circle” digital agency, Inga Milusheva.

Also, marketer and blogger Zaynab Sharikova held a master class on topic “Creating content in 2023. Trends, Reels and Sales”.

The very next day after the exhibition, despite the weekend, 1-2-3-year students had a photo session of their fashion models.

The pre-exhibition excitement did not leave the young people. They have a greater desire to strive forward.
