The results of the Erasmus + 2023 project proposals competition have been announced


According to the results of the selection within the framework of the 2023 Erasmus+ competition 

Capacity development in higher education will finance 7 new projects with the participation of universities of Uzbekistan.

Among them are 2 national projects (DEBSEUZ and EMPOWER), 4 regional projects with the participation of Central Asian countries (LESLIE, OFINU, TEX4FUTURE, CircuIEC) and 1 interregional project (SPHERE).

 The selected projects, involving 22 universities from 8 regions of the country and 7 non-academic organizations, will contribute to the development of sustainable land use, textile production, sustainable transport, solar energy, innovative curricula and modules on circular economy and sustainable development, the development of entrepreneurial skills among women and the modernization of higher education in the field of food innovation and technology.

Kimyo International University in Tashkent will take part in two projects – EMPOWER, aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills among women of Uzbekistan and increasing their motivation to obtain equal life opportunities with all citizens of Uzbekistan, and SPHERE - improving and developing existing curricula for bachelor's and master's degree programs in accordance with the Bologna requirements and national accreditation standards by introducing new educational disciplines in the field of sustainable transport development.
